Jeff has done great work at my place - whether it is the heavy concrete and fencing work, steps, grape arbor, or green house - he always shows integrity, creativity and flexibility. For example, the greenhouse pictured on this site sprouted from a minimal design concept to a finished structure through an expanded concept of design-build -- finding and figuring out windows and placement as the walls went up. He has a great eye for detail and takes the time to really make sure all of the cuts work well and fit just right. He also adds new meaning to "broom clean". You can trust his honesty, dependability, and sense of reasonableness. He's a great guy to work with!

When I purchased my house a few years ago, I knew I'd have to have someone build bookshelves into the extra bedroom I'd planned to use as an office and because I was new to the area, I relied on word-of-mouth to find a good carpenter. Jeff's name came up repeatedly. So I called JC Stoneman. Not only did Jeff design and build the shelving but he also built the drawers. JC Stoneman is an excellent choice for any home improvement project one might imagine. Currently Jeff is rebuilding a 960 square foot garage on my property. The back wall had been destroyed by years of neglect so Jeff rebuilt it. After asbestos tiles were removed, he resided the building. He reframed and replaced the windows, and is now rebuilding the garage doors. I wouldn't hesitate to call Jeff for any carpentry job I had. His high quality craftsmanship is something to brag about. His prices are reasonable and he keeps his receipts in order and finishes projects in a timely fashion. I highly recommend JC Stoneman Home Improvement.

Over the past few years, Jeff Stoneman has, with talent,knowledge, intelligence and care transformed my home. He has done everything from remodel bathrooms--expertly putting down tile, replacing door frames and cabinetry--to making a garage into a beautiful painting studio with a stone tile floor, a balcony into a luminous writing room, and a dowdy basement a into a beautiful, airy space for guests. Jeff has carefully repaired walls and painted them; he has redone my siding and built a stunning wall-length bookcase. If I have called upon him again and again, it is not only because he is an exemplary craftsman capable of truly beautiful carpentry and just about everything else one can imagine, he is also a delight to know and work with: trustworthy, always on time, (ALWAYS ON TIME!!!!) and attentive and kind. Jeff handled several projects for me in our recent remodel. He designed and rebuilt our master shower and enclosure. Jeff suggested and installed our kitchen glass tile backsplash above our granite counter top and designed and installed a contemporary face for our new fireplace.
The impressive thing about Jeff besides being a skilled craftsman was his artist's eye for color and design. Jeff brought images to help us focus on what would work for us. He gave our remodel some real pizzazz. He is a polite, honest professional and a pleasure to work with.
